Seamstress: Horse Blanket Repair
This hands-on position involves cleaning, repairing, and restoring horse blankets to ensure they are safe, durable, and ready for use. The ideal candidate is creative, crafty, willing to learn, and able to follow directions well. Horse experience or basic sewing experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person!
Seamstress: Product Creation
We are seeking an experienced and creative seamstress to join our team in the design and manufacturing of The Horseman's favorite products. The ideal candidate is skilled in sewing and product construction, works well in a collaborative environment, and has a strong eye for detail and innovation. This role will focus on creating and developing horse-related gear and accessories, turning ideas into high-quality finished products through hands-on craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
Fabrication Sewing Technician
Responsible for the manufacturing of custom windscreens in a hands-on production environment. This role requires a high level of knowledge using a tape measure to ensure all materials are cut and assembled accurately to specification. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting and handling materials up to 50 lbs as part of the fabrication process. No prior sewing experience is required, as training will be provided; however, applicants must be open to learning sewing and fabrication techniques and developing new skills. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable and eager to work in a manufacturing setting where precision and accuracy are essential.
Field Service Technician – Windscreen Installations
This position involves installing and maintaining windscreens, including assembling cable framing, performing light welding, measuring and fitting materials, and safely hanging and tensioning windscreens. The role includes transporting materials, using hand and power tools, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights while following safety procedures. Candidates should have basic welding and mechanical skills, the ability to read measurements, and the physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor, along with reliability and teamwork.
